Lisa Press is a senior finance leader with more than 15 years of experience across accounting, FP&A, financial consulting, finance transformation, and senior finance leadership.
She began her career at PwC, building a strong technical foundation in accounting, audit, controls, and financial reporting. She then moved into FP&A at Time Inc. in New York City, gaining experience in planning, analysis, and business partnering within a large media organization.
Lisa later moved to San Francisco and built her career as an accounting and finance consultant in the Silicon Valley technology ecosystem. She supported high-growth and public companies including Stripe, Color Health, Pure Storage, Udemy, and several SaaS businesses across financial reporting, month-end close, ERP implementation, audit readiness, forecasting, board reporting, and process improvement.
Her consulting work included creating Stripe Payments Company’s first financial statement budget and presenting results to the Board of Directors, helping Color Health scale its finance department and prepare for its first Big 4 audit, supporting reporting at Pure Storage as a public technology company, and reducing month-end close timelines by more than 75% through process improvement and automation.
After moving to Denmark, Lisa held senior FP&A and finance leadership roles at Maersk, Monta, and SimCorp A/S. At Monta, she served as Director of FP&A and supported the company through its €80 million Series B fundraising process, while strengthening forecasting, management reporting, and financial planning infrastructure.
